We organized our first photo shoot for the tribe a few weeks ago. Based on the idea that everyone is a model, we gathered a group of anyone interested. We asked our models to style themselves and took pictures against a cedar wall. Simple, clean, and a job well done from our buddy Mr. Elliot Luckett, the photographer for this part of the shoot. I really like this new Ne-Yo video. Although it is very FutureSex/LoveSounds-ish, I like that they incorporated typography into the video. It adds something intangible and makes you pay attention to the words a little more. Also it adds kind of a 3rd dimension visually, at least in my opinion. The song doesn’t really do it for me as a lead single, but I’m still looking forward to his new album, “Year of the Gentleman”. His last album carried me through the spring and summer of 2007, so I have high hopes for this project. What do you think?And are you looking forward to Ne-yo’s album? Why or why not?
