2nd New Orleans Middle East Film Festival present by Zeitgeist Multi-disciplinary Arts Center August 1 through 10, 2008.
We are proud to officially announce the inclusion of the Audience Award Winner from the 2008 Sundance Film Festival, CAPTAIN ABU RAED (from Jordan) as our Closing Night Gala. The film’s Executive Producer, DAVID PRITCHARD (best known for his work as a producer for cutting edge animated T.V. series The Simpsons, King of the Hill and The Family Guy) will be here to introduce the film.
The entire festival of 60 films, visiting filmmakers, concerts and visual art is being presented without any grants or public funds or paid staff. It is as grassroots as it gets, so we need your help. If you or your organization could send this out to your e-mail lists, post a link to your website or add it to your calendar of events it would be a huge favor. If you are interested in sponsoring a film or the festival, it is never too late. Festival Passes are now available!

All matinees starting prior to 6:00 p.m. are only $5 students & seniors / $4 members and children 15 and under / Patrons free.
