Devon Aoki, born August 10, 1982, is an American supermodel and actress. She is the shortest supermodel, standing a mere 5′5″! She was born in New York City, but grew up in California and London. Her Japanese American father, a former Olympic wrestler, was the founder of Benihana until his death in early 2008.

She started modeling at age 13, and was taken under Kate Moss’ bony wing. At age 16, Devon replaced Naomi Campbell as the face of Versace. Though she was an A-student in school, she elected not to go on to university, believing that working and traveling would offer a more satisfying education.

Other than having the most incredible face in the modeling business, as far as I’m concerned, she earns cool points in other ways: She has 3 brothers and 3 sisters, one of whom is named Echo. She has two pet snakes. She writes poetry, plays the drums, and has dated Lenny Kravitz.

Devon lives alone in LA, and keeps her personal life as private as possible.
